Entrenamiento espartano, ¿lo pruebas?

Spartan training, will you try it?

Boost your health and self-motivation with Spartan training.

With Spartan training, you will move as your body was designed to: crawl, climb, jump, lift, pull, push, run, squat, and more.

If you need an effective workout that you can do at home, look no further, because the routine will be more intense than you think; there are no excuses…

Once you complete the warm-up, you will move on to the main workout, which allows you to use your own body weight or add weight if you wish.

The benefits of Spartan training

Studies show that physical conditioning is the second most important factor in athletic performance, while mindset is the first.

Spartan training works your body and mind, as you challenge yourself with every routine.

Working hard for a set period of time is an excellent way to force yourself to work, bringing out your competitive side.

  • Body strength: this is a full-body “ladder” workout that emphasizes upper-body strength, shoulder mobility, and grip strength.
  • Conditioning: Spartan training will help you condition your entire body, while also focusing on grip strength and hip mobility.
  • Endurance: work on your endurance, back strength, and legs; it is a true challenge for anyone, both mentally and physically.
  • Power: it is effective for explosive power, allowing you to improve your ability to exert force at greater speed.
  • Metabolic boost: an intense circuit that will melt away those extra calories during and after your workout.

Spartan training is not just about how long you can squat or do push-ups, but about giving you that extra factor that works all the elements we mentioned, including neuromuscular coordination, agility, and flexibility.

Training like a Spartan

MASmusculo presents variations for beginners, intermediate, and advanced athletes, so you can challenge yourself at any fitness level.

  • If you are just starting out, simply adjust the complexity and intensity of the movements

Iván, our MM Fit trainer, prepared a Spartan training routine suited to your abilities: 50 reps at the advanced level, 40 reps at the intermediate level, and 20 reps at the basic level, with a maximum time of 15 minutes. Anything under that time is great.

The equipment you will need is a mat, a chair, a stopwatch, and a bottle of water for during the workout.

Exercises

  • Push-ups.
  • Squats.
  • Lunges.
  • Sit-ups.
  • Chair dips.
  • Lower-back exercises.

All repetitions are performed consecutively without rest, making this an intense workout for any fitness level.

Remember to warm up beforehand and cool down after finishing the Spartan workout, as Iván demonstrates in the video, and hydrate from time to time.

Ultimately, in addition to the physiological benefits of Spartan training, it will boost your self-confidence and promote mental strength.

Stay home and train like a warrior…
