At Moremuscle, we consider it essential to keep our customers informed of any changes affecting our raw materials. Therefore, we are announcing that Kyowa's amino acid manufacturing facilities have been acquired by new owners and will begin operating under the trade name “Plumino”.

Context of the corporate change

Kyowa, a long-standing international reference in the manufacture of amino acids through fermentation, has sold its amino acid production facilities. As a direct consequence of this corporate transaction:

• The facilities continue their industrial operations.

• Technical staff and production processes remain unchanged.

• Quality and control standards continue under the same protocols.

• The manufacturer's trade name is changing to Plumino.

This is not a change of supplier or a new external factory, but rather a corporate reorganization with complete industrial continuity.

The following facilities will begin operating under the Plumino brand:

• Kyowa USA
  (Glutamine, base Arginine, Citrulline)

• Kyowa Shanghai
  (Remaining amino acids produced through fermentation)

The fermentation technology, purification systems, GMP certifications, and analytical control procedures remain the same.

Impact on Moremuscle products

At Moremuscle, we work with raw materials from these facilities for various high-purity amino acids. This change means that:

• The name Plumino will begin to appear on the certificates of analysis (CoA) instead of Kyowa.

• The labels will change only in the manufacturer's name.

• The technical design and specification format remain virtually identical.

KQ logo on Moremuscle products

Many customers associate Kyowa's quality with the well-known KQ logo, and over the coming months there will be a gradual transition to the new branding.

Kyowa continues to exist

The Kyowa brand is not disappearing as a company. It continues to operate in specific areas of specialization, focused mainly on:

• Cognizin®

• Setria® (Reduced glutathione)

However, it will cease manufacturing standard amino acids following the sale of its production facilities.
